Q. Can a woman be allergic to a man’s sperm to the point it causes an itchy, uncomfortable feeling for the woman? During my marriage — one reason we are not married anymore — the wife claimed she was allergic to my sperm. I found it hard to believe. We did not go together for a medical visit, but she claims it is possible.
A. From the tone of your letter, it sounds like she had an allergy to you and used a more creative excuse than a headache.
Which is not to say that she didn’t hit on something plausible.
Ever heard of the young woman who went off on her honeymoon full of sweet anticipation only to develop hives, swollen eyes, diarrhea, an inflammation of the lining of the rectum and trouble breathing? Turns out she was allergic to her new husband’s seminal fluid.

The condition is called seminal plasma hypersensitivity because the allergic reaction is really to the soup carrying the sperm, not the sperm themselves. Between 20,000 to 40,000 women in the U.S. may experience the allergy, according to Dr. Jonathan Bernstein of the University of Cincinnati. The causes are still under study so it's not known if some women who develop the allergy will be allergic to all men or if, sometimes, something has changed in the semen of a woman's partner to create it.
The typical patient is a woman having her first intercourse, but it can also develop in a woman who has been having sex with the same man for a long time, said Dr. David Resnick, director of allergy at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. It can occur after a period of abstinence, such as when a couple resumes having sex following pregnancy and childbirth. As long as the couple is having sex, the woman is desensitized to the semen. But she can lose that during the abstinent period and have a reaction once the fun resumes.
Because seminal plasma hypersensitivity is uncommon, it’s sometimes mistaken for other vaginal conditions and even STDs. It also can have some serious consequences. Patients desiring children have had to use an assisted reproduction technique that washes the sperm out of the fluid. The woman is then artificially inseminated.
Treatments vary from using condoms all the time to desensitization, which can include a series of exposures to the offending semen starting with tiny amounts and working up. Bernstein has begun using a one-day series of injections containing isolated proteins from the man’s semen. More good news: The treatment can include instructions to have intercourse at least every 48 hours to maintain the resistance. There are worse therapies.
Q. I’ve been in a relationship with a man for over eight years. In 2006, he suffered a stroke. He lost all feeling on his right side. It took time for him to gain the ability to walk, but now he’s much better. But we don’t make love anymore. He says he is disabled now and can’t feel anything there, but my question to him is “Do you feel anything for me?” Does sexual desire leave a person after having a stroke?
A. Often, yes, said Dr. Robert G. Robinson, head of the department of psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
“One of the most common causes for a drop in libido after a stroke is depression,” Robinson told Sexploration. “It occurs in about 40 percent of stroke patients during the acute period after a stroke and about 20 percent after the acute period.”

“So it really is sort of a complicated situation because there are multiple possible explanations depending on his impairments, the location, or the consequences of the stroke,” Robinson said.
Once again, as we say so often here at Sexploration, it is vital that people experiencing sexual problems talk to their doctors, even if the doctor seems uncomfortable. Doctors do not ask about sexual complications often enough, Robinson said, and patients are often embarrassed to bring it up. But treatment with, say, proper antidepressants and psychotherapy, or possibly erectile dysfunction drugs, have helped many stroke victims recover more of their abilities than just walking.

My complaint about Thomas' Calculus

I don't know how to tell you this, but innocent children have been brainwashed by Thomas' Calculus's salacious agendas. Before I launch into my rant, permit me the prelude caveat that Thomas' Calculus's inveracities are based on a denial of reality, on the substitution of a deliberately falsified picture of the world in place of reality. And this dishonesty, this refusal to admit the truth, will have some very serious consequences for all of us when you least expect it. If you ask Thomas' Calculus if it's true that its theatrics do not pass muster by any objective standards, you'll just get a lot of foot-shuffling and downcast eyes in response. Once it becomes clear that by an odd twist of fate, with Thomas' Calculus's morals, simple credos like "check your sources" and "argue the other side of the question" have gone out the window, it becomes apparent that Thomas' Calculus will stop at nothing to devastate vast acres of precious farmland. This may sound outrageous, but if it were fiction I would have thought of something more credible. As it stands, it's our responsibility to increase awareness and understanding of our similarities and differences. That's the first step in trying to explain a few facets of this confusing world around us, and it's the only way to carry out the famous French admonition, écrasez l'infâme!, against its publicity stunts.
Should this be discussed in school? You bet. That's the function of education: To teach students how to purge the darkness from Thomas' Calculus's heart. Let's conduct aGedankenexperiment. Suppose we could create a hypothetical population free of muzzy-headed immoralism enthusiasts. Let's assume, furthermore, that Thomas' Calculus were powerless to treat people like craven, drossy rakes. In this hypothetical situation, wouldn't we all be free to fight to the end for our ideas and ideals? Let's make this dream a reality. Let's get people to realize that the picture I am presenting need not be confined to Thomas' Calculus's politics. It applies to everything it says and does.
Thomas' Calculus just keeps on saying, "We don't give a [expletive deleted] about you. We just want to distract attention from more important issues." According to Thomas' Calculus's distortions, distractions, and outright deceptions, anyone who resists Thomas' Calculus deserves to be crushed. Fortunately, most of the people who are seriously interested in preserving our civilization know that the reality is that Thomas' Calculus's intent is to prevent us from asking questions. It doesn't want the details checked. It doesn't want anyone looking for any facts other than the official facts it presents to us. I wonder if this is because most of its "facts" are false.
Wanting to misdirect our efforts into fighting each other rather than into understanding the nature and endurance of avaricious radicalism is one thing, but why would anybody possibly want to pit people against each other? Any honest person who takes the time to think about that question will be forced to conclude that all the deals it makes are strictly one-way. Thomas' Calculus gets all the rights, and the other party gets all the obligations. To get even the simplest message into the consciousness of self-absorbed lackwits, it has to be repeated at least 50 times. Now, I don't want to insult your intelligence by telling you the following 50 times, but by refusing to act, by refusing to pursue virtue and knowledge, we are giving Thomas' Calculus the power to violate its pledge not to cause wishy-washy subversion to gather momentum on college campuses. Thomas' Calculus has called innocent children scary, flippant shirkers to their faces. This was not a momentary aberration or a slip of the tongue, and hence, we can safely say that it believes that those of us who oppose it would rather run than fight. The real damage that this belief causes actually has nothing to do with the belief itself, but with psychology, human nature, and the skillful psychological manipulation of that nature by Thomas' Calculus and its snotty stooges. The irony is that Thomas' Calculus's most judgmental snow jobs are also its most self-aggrandizing. As the French say, "Les extremes se touchent."
Thomas' Calculus can go on saying that a richly evocative description of a problem automatically implies the correct solution to that problem, but the rest of us have serious problems to deal with that preclude our indulging in such drugged-out dreams just now. Under these conditions, I once overheard Thomas' Calculus say something quite astonishing. Are you strapped in? Thomas' Calculus said that space aliens are out to lay eggs in our innards or ooze their alien hell-slime all over us. Can you believe that? At least its statement made me realize that the main dissensus between me and Thomas' Calculus is that I believe that Thomas' Calculus is allergic to any idea that isn't confused. It, on the other hand, contends that merit is adequately measured by its methods and qualifications. Thomas' Calculus's ravings are a house of mirrors. How are we to find the opening that leads to freedom? Here's the answer, albeit in a somewhat circuitous and roundabout style: Thomas' Calculus's list of sins is long and each one deserves more space than I have here. Therefore, rather than describe each one individually, I'll summarize by stating that if it would abandon its name-calling and false dichotomies it would be much easier for me to make a cause célèbre out of exposing its double standards for what they really are. Now that this letter has come to an end, I hope you walk away from it realizing that Thomas' Calculus plants false evidence to incriminate its adversaries.

I'm talking about the subject itself, not my lecturer. I mean, if you don't consistently revise and do exercises, how are you going to be good in it? It punishes you with the Newton's Third Law of Motion:

I'm watching Princess Protection Program DVD Edition on my Comp Now. To download go to DFC. The link is on the sidebar of this blog.

For my 100th post I'm going to share with you guys my experience of working on the crew of a blog.

On the second week of July this year, I began to manage another blog, namely DFC as a co-owner. I've worked with the other owners Natalia, Kristiann, Stacy, Soukaina, and more recently Sophie and Nayara. (I'm the only guy here)

Bringing some of my expertise into DFC made me feel quite good to be able to help pthers. I've fulfilled requests, learned how to source for materials and how to draw visitors to the site.

Perhaps the most satisfying part of having to fulfill requests is the Thank You you receive. As Robert Kiyosaki once said, the more people you serve, the better you will be and the more money you will earn. I have certainly not earned money from here but I earned some experience from blogging.

I would like to say Thank You to all my visitors. And to those who linked my blog to yours, thank you!!!!

Undo Send

It is so impressive that I've managed to use an undo send function to stop a mail that I accidently sent to a friend from actually reaching the person's mailbox.

This function from GMail is one of the coolest things I have ever encountered. When I click the send button, it will hold on to the mail for 10 seconds then only it will send it out, giving you time to 'undo'.

The reason I put a 1.5 here is because it's virtually a continuation to the previous article. The talk about downloading movies from internet would not be complete without mentioning the P2P networks we know dear.

Now that you have click on the read more link, I can see that you are interested in finding more. P2P networks or peer to peer networks are networks on which we share files that other people download. This is to say you download what other people put on the internet.

One of the most prominant P2P programs on the internet is eMule.

eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world.

It's server based so you just connect to a server and search then download.

For Speed downloads, I recommend Ares P2P. It's the fastest P2P client on the internet that provides maximum speed to a Download.

For Big Files, I recommend using torrents. Torrents are files that contain information that is used by BitTorrent Clients to download files.

Essentially, you do a search on the internet for torrent files on sites such as this and then download the torrent file and then open it with a client such as Azureus then it will start downloading.

The concept of torrents is that there is a original file hosted by seeds and then there's the people who want to download them called peers or leeches. Now these leeches become seeds when they finish downloading. Everyone receives a different part of the file and then exchanges it with each other. Eventually everyone will receive the full file(s).

BY the way, files on P2P networks are subject to availibility. Therefore you can pretty much say you can't find everything there but P2P programs are good for downloading music, movies and games.

Let's Get This Party Started.

Firstly, I'm sorry about not doing this yesterday. I was a little busy with my chancing this blog's layout and such......

Part #1

Perhaps the very first part of the hidden internet I have ever found was the power of the IRC (Internet Relay Chat).

IRC is a chat network that is server based, which means you connect to an IRC server and chat in 'Chat Rooms". This concept is long gone with the introduction of Instant Messaging but it's still a good method to chat.

Well, not many people know what I'm about to share with you.

Yes, Say Hello to TMD. It's a movie source that is build upon the foundation of IRC. When you connect to the IRC server in which TMD is in, you will find the oportunity to download tons of movies in DIVX Format. The file size of the files there is just right to be burned into a VCD.

How Does it Work?

You Download their program here.

Steps:

1) Start the program. Click Continue.

2)Put in your name, email (these can be fake) and 2 nicknames.

3) Click on the lightning button on the top left. It will connect to the channel (room). You're In!

4) Click on help on the top, then click register. Copy and paste the following:

Name : TMD-Moviez

Registeration Code: 7544-715685

Follow these steps to download:

1) You will notice that you are connected to 4 channels :

#TMD - The Chat Room and Help (You can close this unless you need help)
#tmd-moviez - Download Movies
#tmd-music - Download Full Albums
#tmd-tvrips - Downloading episodes of shows

2) Now, to download movies, select the #tmd-moviez channel and click 'find assistant' on top.

3) Type the title of the movie you are looking for inside the title box. Then tick 'no sends' below. Then Click Search. If nothing comes up, wait for 30 seconds then untick no sends and tick 'no queues'. and repeat search. If nothing again then repeat seach without ticking anything.

4) Click the server and double click on the file you want to download and you're on your way.

5) Alternatively, click on the @XDCC on the left sidebar. Then look for the file you want to download and double click. File subject to availability.

6) You can resume your downloads if it's broken. That means if you have to cancel half way, you can resume the download later.

7) To view your downloads, click on the button surrounded by the green borders above.

There you go.

The Story of Me and The Internet So Far

Since I started using the internet, I have explored around 5% of the growing internet. From money earning sites to plain web 2.0, I have experienced what many wouldn't have experienced: The Hidden Side of The Internet.

Many of you use the internet for simple stuff like using email, reading webpages, news. Some of you may even blog. While many have seen Facebook, most have not used Twitter before. I, on the other hand, have downloaded movies from IRC, besides knowing how to search in sites like Megaupload and Rapidshare, manage 5 blogs (3 of which are active).

I learned tips from many webmasters and have much to say. I'm a seasoned veteran of the computers and always help my friends when they have problems (except problems that involved sending the item back to the manufacturer.

I even learned how blog posts should be formatted. I mean, isn't that interesting?

I know that most of you have emails filled to the brim because you don't know how to configure Facebook to send only 'readable' emails.

I know many of you want to know where to get tons of freebies like episodes without worrying

Perhaps with this, I should start a multi post series of site introductions and also some tips and tricks.

Look out for the articles starting tomorrow. :)

Hmmmmm What should I blog about today? Perhaps about a Japanese puzzle named Kakuro.

Kakuro is like the kind of puzzle that a professional Sudoku Player would find to be MEDIUM, not easy. You need to be good in sums and their combinations and logic.

The last 2 small puzzles in my kakuro book is killing me. How would I like to solve the puzzles now..............!!!!!!!!1

Ok, know that I find this an interesting thing. I just mixed a remix track and an original track and the result is a very nice track.....:)

BTW, managing a blog is such a nice job. You get to know so many people, deduce their personalities. If you manage an intermediate blog, which is like getting 3000 hits/weeks, well, you get that enourmous boost to help yourself blog better.

I just saw the most peculiar thing ever. They used a Hannah Montana Pict in an ad for a HYIP.

I am one of the priveliged few who got to listen to the following album FULLY before the release as I discovered that many of the downloads on the internet have not contained Track 8.

It's 10 am here in Asia and Demi has just gone offline on her webcast on Facebook. And I'm here to review her new album "Here We Go Again". If I'm not mistaken, 4 tracks have already premiered on RD just now and 3 more tomorrow before the planet premier of the album on Radio Disney on Saturday. Her sophomore album will be out on Tuesday, July 21 2009.

Review:

The title track 'Here We Go Again' is a mix of very nice tunes and the perfect song describing that breakups are usually not the end of things.
Track 2 'Solo' talks about a girl's thoughts about her boyfriend and her planning to go solo. Nice and catchy music.
Track 3 'U Got Nothin' on Me' is about how a girl knows a lot of dirt on her boyfriend and for all his misdeeds she is prepared to break up with him. However the title suggests that the boyfriend has got 'no dirt on her'.
Track 4 'Falling Over Me' is this slow song that is quite meaningful. It depicts the story of someone waiting for her loved one to return.
Track 5 'Quiet' is a mix of drums and guitars mentioning about how quiet has profound effects on people.
Track 6 'Catch Me' has a nice and relaxing slow score in the background in the beginning then a very fast background music behind like 'Don't Forget'.
Track 7 ' Every Time You Lie' has this contemporary relaxing piano music talking about catching boyfriends who lie.
Track 8 'Got Dynamite' is a song asking 'How do we break down the walls? Using Dynamite?".
Track 9 'Stop The World' tells us that we can't stop the world from moving but we can stop the world from falling apart. The music fits well with the lyrics.
Track 10 'World of Chances' talks about everyone having many chances in the world and how the writer has given many chances to her boyfriend but her boyfriend is burning through those chances.
Track 11 'Remember December' asks us not to surrender but to Remember December. Perhaps it's the rhyming but the song is quite good with the three words 'surrender, remember, december'. Perhaps this is the candidate for the album's second single.
Track 12 'Everything You're Not' has a slow start but catches tempo in the chorus. Worth a listen. Talks about "all I want is everything you're not".
Track 13 'Gift of A Friend' has the medival tempo to it. Perhaps it's because it's for 'TinkerBell'.
Track 14 'So Far So Great' is the theme song of "Sonny With A Chance" and is a catchy song with meaningful lyrics about taking chances and describing that the experience turns out to be great so far.

Overall, the album feels great when you listen it over and over again.

Creating Karaoke Tracks

Ever wondered how YouTube users actually create all those Karaoke videos with lyrics?

Today, I have a tutorial to create Karaokes. (But this method does not work with some songs, because for some, after processing you will still hear the voice, some you will get nothing at all.)

If you are the sort who don't like this kind of stuff, you can always request it at DFC and I will make one for you.

ANyway here are the steps:

Download Audacity. (Google it up)
Open Audacity.
File -- Open -- Choose Mp3 file.
Click on the label with your song name on it beside the 'x' on the left hand side of your screen.
Click Split Stereo Track.
Highlight the bottom part of the track only.
Click 'Effect' on the menu bar then click 'Invert'.
Repeat step 4 but this time click on mono for both top and bottom.
Then play and check for your Karaoke.

Nice! You have just created your own Karaoke.

That's all! See Ya!.

I'm off the hook for a little while so I can blog here and you know, type some interesting things.

To comment on my blog list just below, I would say that I have a nicer and maybe equal bloglist compared to most of my fellow bloggers. Anyway, I would say that doing this is easier and nicer than just putting up their names and such.

As for the contents, well, some are bitchy, some are nice, some have bad grammar but most are good. Some are Chinese, but most are English. Find that most of them are personal, some are sarcastic, some are poetic. Well, Variety is the spice of Life. :)

The power of the internet is such that it has to have someone providing the content. That's why we have Web 2.0 that is all the stuff which is YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and more.

I provide content on a daily basis with this blog. I mean, if you don't want create videos and post them up in YouTube, this is the next best alternative, by writing and typing into a blog such as this.

When you put things up into the Internet, things happens. An American Idol Judge might stumble upon it and find your singing irresistable. Or else some publisher sees your excellent writing skills and contacts you about writing a book.

Well, the 'geeks' or Computer Enthusiasts use this place called the "Internet' to exercise their muscles by tyoing non-stop into the WYSIWYG box. They have lots to type about. So does people who are usually quiet in class.

#78 is a nice number because it's ascending: 7 then 8. A milestone? no!!!! I'm going to write another 922 posts to reach a milestone.

By the way, congratulations to the prom organizers for their nice job as I see in the photos. As for my class party's organizers, I love you guys!!!

Another late night for me, the 3rd in 2 weeks. I mean it's amazing I can keep up with this thing although I have imsomnia.

Anyway, I watched the Memorial and it was the best show I've ever watched. The star studded Solemn yet good performance moved me. I remember the good speeches with interesting anecdotes and all those songs and most of stars who came to pay tribute to the KiNg.

Well, that the end of an era. Let's hope the next does not come too soon.

Wimbledon Open Final

Last weekend's Wimbledon Finals were the most amazing tennis matches I have watched. The Men's and Women's singles match and the Doubles Match were amazing.

The longer a match goes, the more you feel that watching the match in the middle of the night is worthwhile. I mean, the tournament comes only once a year. 16-14 is such an amazing score and the longest match ever. Federer is such the endurance man. I remember the Olympics advertisement quote him as the "Invincible Man". That was the longest match I have ever watched in terms of games.

But I have to tell you this, the Williams Sisters are the best on grass. Looking at their opponents crumble at their feet as they serve for match is the most amazing moment of the match.

The Men's Doubles match saw the Defending Champions Nestor and Zminichj defeat world number one Bryan Brothers. :)

Ok, It's aallmmoosstt the end of ssuummeerr and you know what that means? 4 weeks of holidays.......I almost can't wait for it.-

2 exams stand in my path to the holidays. Econs......I hope Miss Pua won't set it too hard...I mean, she has a tendency to set harder questions.....Well, it depends on myself. I must understand, not memorize and regurgitate......eewww......

Msian Studies.....Ok, 50 is a pass and a pass is good enough....As if we're gonna be given an A....:)

Tomorrow is essay writing day, 1 essay and 15 marks...Is it enough for an A? perhaps...........

Ok, I admit, the title is riddiculously long. Ok, I'm now officially the new secretary of Actuarial Science Society of Taylors UC. Well, I'm cleaning ou the contact list and checking mail to do somethings.

English, well I'm still brainstorming of some parts of my essay. Since I ran my idea through the class, Miss Thava said it was ok but needs an angle from the point of view of how it affected me. Well, a reflective essay needs to be thought over and now I'm blogging to brainstorm. (That's my method)

Still in a small dillema of picking subjects. Should I go for a fifth? Maybe...Somehting nice......like SPCH105 or THTR101.

Then again, I can think about all these things tonight while I'm in imsomnia mode.

I haven't posted in this place for 5 days...Man I must have been so obssessed with the game.

Like I said.....I can't believe it.....and another thing I can't believe is how Blogger doesn't come with a spell checker. A spell check can help me with some spelling (I keep typing spelling with a double 'e')

Time to flex my hand muscles

I always use blogging as a way to motivate myself to write. Perhaps it could be a way to help others type too.

I know, most of us are used to typing without looking at the keyboard and such....But I mean it's so hard to stop looking at the keyboard because I'm used to it. Even if I know what keys to push and where what key is. (Sometimes I get mixed up because I hit the key next to the one I'm supposed to hit.

Anyway, to write good essays, it's good to type once in a while. Not that reading is bad of course, but reading sometimes put you to sleep. (Sometimes) Really, because you type in the computer faster than write in a diary. The big price of doing that is that you reveal every single thing to every third-grader with a modem. (My favourite expression from Digital Fortress)

Perhaps the real thing that's important on the internet is security. No matter how much people promise to keep secrets in writing, secrets are stolen and revealed anyway everywhere. You can sue them for libel and slander but the world always gets in your way. By the way, the history of the world is the history of Cryptography, Secrets are meant to be stolen. (From Splinter Cell Chaos Theory)

I mean, there are people who got conned in Facebook, get phished and got KOed. Stolen IDs are useful tool for exploitation. Spam is used everywhere as a cyberworld means of mass communication. You can see many people tagging each other on Facebook, but do you know that you can save pictures from facebook? ID theft is easy in the US where you can impersonate almost anyone with almost every Human invention.

Remember, anything on the internet is not safe. You should make your computers run plug and play drivers to avoid people from hacking your computer. (I mean, who would want such worthless things as plug and play driver? Every computer has them).

Anyway, Facebook is now going to use usernames instead of emails. Nuts much? This is going to make creating usernames tough, because how many combinations can you make? Emails and multiply the number of accounts you can create. Besides, it makes it so much harder to find your account in the public directory. You wouldn't want any stalkers, would you?

Captchas aka Turing codes are the most wonderful invention in the cyberworld.

They are actually pictures that make it hard for computers to impersonate people.

Some websites like to put Turing Codes to deter people from using bots to cheat, some do that for security.

But the most beneficial thing about Turing codes is that computer viruses , worms and trojan horses won't have the chance to hack accounts.

Turing codes come in a variety of styles but all of them are pictures. Now the working behind this genius invention is the computers cannot read pictures but the human mind can.

Everytime Google or some other site, prompts you to type in some code when you sign up or post something, you'll be at ease because of Alan Turing and his amazing invention.

My presentation went very well. I'm just surprised that not one of the other groups made a DIY video. Well, I still won't know what mark I have got. BB7 is such a drag.

So far a have a deficit of 1+ 1.5. Hmm I better brush up my writing skills and all sorts of other skills.
